Brian Lott • Director National Operations

Brian Lott possesses more than 13 years of experience in energy management, building commissioning and operational engineering for educational, healthcare and complex research institutions. Brian has led numerous energy management programs as well as assisted in the development and implementation of energy programs for a wide range of clients including K-12 schools, large universities, colleges, healthcare, business and industry, and cultural institutions. His current responsibilities include oversight and management of Aramark’s energy management programs, including Harvard Law School, Geneva College, Council Rock School District, East Baton Rouge Parish Schools. He has assisted clients with reducing energy cost and consumption, improving system operation, working through electric deregulation, and training operating staff. In addition to this, he has extensive experience investigating and installing “green” technologies such as solar, wind and fuel cells.

In addition to his energy management, Brian has experience with building commissioning, diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical systems, operations training, design reviews, utility systems planning, deferred maintenance studies, utility data analysis, and utility procurement. He has extensive experience working on central chilled water systems, laboratory controls, HVAC systems and controls, air and water balancing, and building automation systems. Brian has made presentations on energy management to industry organizations such as the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), International Association of School Business Officials (ASBO), and the New York State Council of School Superintendents (NYSCOSS).

Education: B.S. Mechanical Engineering, Lehigh University. Certification: Professional Engineer (CT, TX).
